Boro Coldworked Beads

Posted by Sarah Mader on 2/14/2005
These beads are flameworked, made with Glass Alchemy color rods and frit - then coldworked and polished. The beads are all strung by me - with bali silver and semi -precious stones.
-Part of my organic jewelry line.-

Thanks for looking.

Hi ~ I'm Sarah

I'm 26 years old and currently reside in Eugene, Oregon.

In 1998 - I co-founded Eugene Glass Alliance - a contemporary lampworking studio.

Today - I am currently focusing on my own glass work - which includes borosilicate flameworked beads along with kiln formed glass - I especially enjoy coldworking most of the pieces I create - either on Somaca belt sander or on an Ameritool flat lap.

Besides glass, I enjoy photography and web design.

Thanks for visiting my gallery.
