This bead was made with the new silver reduction glass produced by R4glass studio, Ron & Rocio Bearer.
Soft glass, coe104 compatible..so easy and beautiful. This particular color is named Monet. They also make Rocio Mist, Picasso, Chagall.

I love doing these tiny little sculptures. They tend to be on the whimsical side of things more than realistic. I enjoy the challenge of keeping each sculputre around 2-3" tall.

Undersea Garden

Undersea Garden

This is a faceted bead that I made this week. First I worked the sea garden and encased heavily around.
Three different layers of frit. When I flat lapped the face, I went deep enough to reveal the window..the backside I went into the frits only.
When illuminated from behind this bead reveals the underwater appearance.
