anakin came to burghausen germany teaching two classes ... marble madness in burghausen at the studio glaspunkt by glassartist sigi franz...

I call them XHIbeads.. seems like westcoast custom has been here pimpin my beads.. hahaha
I love them, everyone of `em...
and they were ment to be lucky-charms for a bunch of people....
I think I stop beading for a while... there`s nothing left to do...(for a week or so, lol)

i had a bead-class in vienna at my friend roberts hotshop...so after teaching beads to my students (and to robert too hahaha)....he tried to teach me some furnace stuff... oh my... this is so hard... and so hot... and so exciting (and i was such a talent-free student i guess) i gave up my chihuly-intentions and we tried to make a bead in the gloryhole... it took us 2 hours...it was so much fun (even if the bead looks terrible :-)
at least i can say: robert is a gifted beadmaker now ! (YOU THE MAN and thanks for the peppers)

.... just have a look, in german we call that thing "etagere" which is for sure a french word.... It's always difficult to use a foreign language, even if I underdstand most of spoken or written english, it's something complete different using it myself....°°sigh°°

i love the sound of ice cubes swimming in a glass of sparkling ...water.. with a little spot of red bull.... cheers ! ;)
that inspired me (just the sound... hehe) and i found out what to do with masses of incompatible clear lauscha glass...

chad pitts (WV) is here to teach a few boro bead classes in germany... we wanted to learn the gold fuming... and now we all see the world through rose-colored-glasses ;-)

we did the anakin class at his studio glaspunkt ... and it was so much fun for everyone of us. after working sigi entertained us by creating a skull for anakin ...

i`ve spent 2 weeks in italy at my fathers house where i`ve got a little studio to spend my holidays beading :)
.... i`ve left all the clear glass at home and made only opaque stuff... it was so much fun to get away from the clear glass for a while ... i am sick of incompatibilty problems which i had the last time and that was the best way to relax....

since i learned how to vapor the gold onto the clear boro tubes...i try it once in a while between my moretti thingys .. (now the gold fell(fall?) off the quarz and that did it...end of my pink-episode on boro... that`s what happend... not much... but i have so many things in my head what i COULD do... just need some collaboration...and maybe another piece of gold (and some skills too ;-)

....yippppppppeeeeeeeeeeee !! today I layed aside the mandrel and startet my first try with boro...on that real big torch...
( I failed... but I keep on trying again and again and again..)
my first blown piece... I was so proud ! than it cracked.... I pushed it from the table when it has been finished.... :-(
