Rae Grout - Glass Bead Art

These have been created to look like dove wings stretched around the bead as if embracing peace, then I realized peace is not enough so I made the hearts for love :-)

I had been in Jamaica and hired a cab driver to spend the day with me and show me the real Jamaica. He told me the key to their happiness was they see beauty in people from the inside out. :-)

I had a good friend who moved to Montana from Mexico. His nick name was smiley, regardless of the cold and snow he always had a warm smile on his face.

The Cypress Tree beads: One of my favorite artist is Vincent Van Gogh. I love the way he breaks his patterns by not having only horizontal and vertical lines, he has a lot of curvy stuff going on in his paintings.

I love caramel mochas. Life is too short not to go for all the goodies. I once read when some of the woman who survived the titanic were interviewed they said one regret they had was they wished they would have had the dessert that night.

When I was a little girl my family went camping I would wake my brothers up early in the morning so we could search for the perfect stones to skip across the water. I am sure our early morning laughter could be heard for miles across the lake

These refreshing beauties have been created using shades of lime and soft green ribbon cane under clear with lime colored posies on top of the glass.

In the jungle - the mighty jungle the Tiger sleeps tonight :-)

Again this is dedicated to Vincent he has been quoted as saying " I risk my life in my work, and half my sanity". Now we find out it may have been the nasty chemicals he used for his oil paintings that may have caused his sanity to be risked.
