Cyd Charessia is a Virginia Artist whose work has sold well throughout the United States and in Europe. Her work has received a welcomed response...The artist creates stained glass mosaics on panels of wood... These are very detailed and unique pieces of art…The camera does not do these pieces justice. Most of the pieces have been laid on panels of wood. Some on old table tops that are framed…The mosaics are made from stained glass that is fractured into pieces then snipped to fit in place. There is a unique grouting technique that she has developed, which is entirely her own…as well as her own designs…Nothing in this artist's work is pre-fabricated or the use of any commercial patterns. The designs are all done free hand…everything from fine detailed scenes to abstracts. All of the pieces are either framed or edged with copper foiling…
