Here is my first water fountain. I had tons of fun making this piece. It took me five days of prep and assembly all together, but I have a better understanding of how it all works so the next few times it will get easier. We just got a glass lathe in the shop, so more fountains are surely on the way.

Nathan Miers • Glass Artist and Craftsman Nathan has spent the last few years traveling from coast to coast in search of new inspirations for his work. Coming from a graphic arts background he was searching for a more expressive medium for his art. A few years back he had the chance to play with molten glass, instantly realizing that he found a new medium with infinite possibilities for artistic expression. Nathan's style uses colors that represent emotion. Color relationships that play on core human emotions such as Anxiety, Fear, Surprise, Disgust, Sadness and Happiness. "Emotions are the color palette from which I choose." As an artist, he prefers to create mood bending pieces that uplift and brighten the day of those who have the opportunity to view his work. sweet! I have been wanting to do a fountain for a while, but I'm still figuring out how to put it all together. Where'd you get the base? Awesome work, I would love to see more pics of it in action!
