Have spent some time the past week 1 1/2 focused on murrini. This is my first attempt at makeing furnace murrini. The result of well spent time. Thank you Animal!
10/05 - discontinued - *only a handful of these were made, i created these pieces souly to execute techniques that i learned from James Nowak at Corning. I am currently working on my own design that would be unique to myself. I will post a new style of a pick-up piece later this Fall.
Red Amethyst, White, Gold Ruby Overlays. Teal Dichroic, and Cannes

It's been awhile, new pieces with clusters of murrini, cannes, "orbs", and fused patterns. These are the first two "experiments", more complex designs and elegent form to come. I've never done fusing before, there are all of these new possibilities for surface decoration.
