An experiment: I grinded an etched and slightly nugget-shaped bead. The facets are NOT completely round but do have a little twist ... to make your eyes think.

In dance-class we were talking about the next performance and worked on some difficult parts of the choreography. Some moves reminded me on Native Americans and their fantastic dancing spirits: Here you can see the stage resplendent in turquoise and dichroic with lots of handmade murrinis dancing around.

This bead seems to hold a golden light inside ...
The base of this magical garden is made with Belgian Lace. Delicate copper mesh hides underneath a clear bright encasing. Precious DoubleHelixGlass is the breeding ground for eleven wonderful flowers made with handmade murrinis.
The pendant is worked with silver. A piece of coral has been added ...
My book about healing stones says that coral symbolizes joy and let the wearer enjoy life. It inurds to envy and jealousy ... helps to accept yourself better.

My little light imp (a new murrini creation which reminded me a bit on "The Scream" by Edvard Munch) seems to be irritated in the middle of a magic scenery. It saw a few feathers drifting by on the horizon. There it was ... a blue phoenix with dragon power (or are snakes able to spit fire in this fairy tale ...?!) ... looking for freedom.

In the beginning there’s uncertainty … it’s all about decisions …
Some decisions originate unconsciously / consciously …
We rest in ourselves … it’s dark somehow … time works, … to bring more light into the situation. Amidst this „pupation“ we need tranquility to grow securely.
This process clears: We open ourselves to take a lovingly and wakefully look onto the silence which likes to deliver a message. All these thoughts – which circle around us – send us on a journey …
We try to clarify while looking at the matter of fact from different angles. Oftentimes it feels tempestuously as we lost our psychic balance …
I created this series to give comfort …! With the hope that you’ll be able to unfold yourself with your personal butterfly I send you lots of light & love,

Lately I love to walk our dog "Henry" nearby the valley in the twilight. It's rather cold for this time of the year and the silence has its own magic when the last sunbeams hit the sky. Although I really enjoy the silence I have this strange feeling inside that somebody might be there ... under cover of darkness ...

This long & thin focal is created with DoubleHelixGlass "Psyche" and handmade murrinis which react with a golden outline. The metallic sparkle on the surface is just wonderful. If you hold the bead against the light you can see the layers.

The fascinating part of my work as a contemporary glass beadmaker is the "spiritual conversation" ... energetic connections. Every single bead is hiding all kinds of feelings, new beginnings, fond memories, dreams, crazy stories … a piece of the artist’s soul is captured within the bead and ... “There is so much more, we don’t see …!” It's a real joy for me to make eyes think, ... create beads who are touching your soul.
