HARE KRISHNA my name is Timothy Luoma i've been teaching my self and others the art of flamework for almost seven years . My mission is to spread glass awareness by any means nessecary . I have had shops all over the country ,many of you may beaware of my efforts to share the beauty of this amazeing craft with my summer long open studio in Old Orchard Beach ME .
it was a great experience i got to teach small lessons on the spot , all of the work i did was custom , i had guest glass blowers who i offerd torch time to freely , but best of all i got my art work spread all around the world .

this is a great way to make paper weights or large solid colorfull sculptures . start with a hollow tube 40 mm heavey wall works the best seal one end of the tube get a bunch of scrap glass or cane work throw it in the tube . punty up to the sealed end . heat the entire circumfrance of the sealed end of the tube containing the color . once tme clear glass has softend to the point that it's ready to drip off the tube like honey , suck (without inhaleing) the air out of the tube you end up with a massive gather of soild , airless , and colorfull peice of glass you can shape into whatever you like
