This necklace is comprised of 50 beads which are identical in design. The original design of the bead was inspired by a piece titled, "What's Inside?", the author and maker of which is my friend, a kiln-cast glass artist Hillary Faccio. The bead is made out of several layers with an overlay of enamels and decorated with murrine. There are 8 murrine slices fused onto each bead. One important feature of this design is the interlock between each bead which adds texture and gives the entire piece a sense of organic interdependence.
