Art Glass Boxes

Art Glass Boxes

As you can see more color and more embellishments. Look closely, I lampwork beads for the boxes or sometimes a bug may find a home.

Art glass bracelets

Art glass bracelets

My bracelets all begin with a lampworked bead. I then make the design with semi-precious gems, stones and water pearls. I have developed a design that drapes down on the hand and looks very elegant.

Dichroic Art Glass, gemstone & pearl necklaces

Dichroic Art Glass, gemstone & pearl necklaces

My necklaces begin with a fused or lampworked Dichroic focal bead. My designs are completed with sterling silver clasps, semi-precious gems and water pearls. I love the contrast of using the non-traditional elements together.

Here come the "bugs".

Here come the "bugs".

Here come the "bugs' Dichroic glass is the perfect medium to make beautiful fused "bugs". The glass seems to capture the movement of the butterflies, dragonflies and scarab. The bugs are always very happy to become a shimmering piece of jewelry and then to be adopted by an appreciative new home.

My stained glass background lead me to take fusing and lampwork classes. I have always wanted to "move" the glass so it has been exciting to see all of the possibilities.I especially love working with dichroic glass. Color is very important to my designs so dichro is the perfect medium to use when making fused butterflies, dragonflies and scarabs ( bugs). I also lampwork beads with dichroic glass.

Most of my jewelery includes one of my focal pieces. Color and a balanced design are the elements that lead me to a completed project.

When I have the time I also make stainded glass art pieces. Please take a look. They all include fused or lampwork details.
