One fabulously HUGE organic floral focal bead. Pure silver chemistry is at work on this bead, showing stone like striations and glints of gold, ambers and hues of blue. Petals that look so like paper adorn this bead.
A flower garden that could have been observed throughout the millenia!

My other love is organics. I like the never ending variation that comes with working with silver and ivory.

These beads were made as a challenge, I seem to succumb to too many of these! It was a warring states bead challenge and these were my second try at it, not bad huh? LOL!!

This is the top to a wine bottle stopper. This has 6 layers of glass and took me 2 hours to make. It measures 37mm X 34mm.

I took at class with Loren Stump and learned about Japanese Ojime beads. I found that I loved using one ivory color, doing a little sculpture and details in it.

Well I've finally done it, I've put together a few bead sets. Hard for me because I really don't like "small" beads, but you'll see I've stuck a focal in every set! I just had to!

This is absolutely my favorite Ojime bead yet, Ojime Fungi. I can't tell you how it makes me feel when I look at this one!

Etched lentil shapes with swirled rose designs, love the feel of the silky softness and the soothing lentil shape

I used to own a shell shop in the FL Keys. The little hermits would come into my shell yard and find a new home. They would walk away with thousands of my small shells. I made one to remind me how much I liked them!

This is a warring state focal bead made of Moretti in white, sage and coral. It is 1-5/8" long.

A really large encased floral with a dichroic background that of course doesn't photograph well!

Florals were my goal when I started lampwoking in March, 2002. It has been a long road, but I think I see light at the end of the tunnel!
