Here are a few faceted window beads made out of Effetre. I am trying to learn how to do cold-work with a lap grinder so these were a fun first try.
I also wish to thank my boro friends, Andrew and Bryan, for their help and advice on cold-working. KB is the best!!

I began making another round of animals for my Animal Menagerie Series. These are all second generation. These pendants are created off mandrel in soft glass.
Thank you for looking. Cheers~ Fay Katherine

Blue rose under glass. The rose paperweight style pendants take about 2 hours to create each one. I am addicted to creating consistent floral pendants. These are hand encased (not stump-sucked). Off to make some more!!

This sculpted lioness's head was created for Corina's Egypt Bead Challenge. Sekhmet is the Egyptian Goddess of War and is represented by a lioness head atop a woman's body. There are many statues of Sekhmet so that is why I chose a granite looking color to the head.
My signature murrini is on the back. Thank you for looking~ Fay Katherine

My glass passion right now is creating realistic roses encased with soft glass. I have made only a handful of marbles. Here is a red rose marble.
