Ornaments 2009

Posted by Junoglass on 10/31/2009
Making Christmas ornaments has become a tradition in the Juno Glass studio, and we hear that some folks are starting a collection. This year, instead of making a new group, we focused on improving our angels, trees, etc. to a higher standard. Enjoy!

Red green wire-wrap tree
About 2 1/2" long, these colorful trees feature red base glass with uroboros green noodles and strips of dichro. They're finished with a trunk and a bead, and wire-wrapped.

Cat angel
With the crazy combination of yellow, red and cyan fused glass, ephemeral white glass wings and a funky cat bead head, these ornaments are all whimsy!

This wire-wrapped tree is constructed of citrus-colored stripes. A dichro triangle and matching bead finish it off.

Guardian angel
These angels are special. Their white bodies are topped with a gold foil bead, and their dichroic bibs have a painted gold heart.
