Kiva Ford has been working with glass for years, having graduated with a degree in Scientific Glassblowing and is one of a handful in the country to create such instruments. His passion for glass is reflected in his intricate designs, including his evolving series that find vessels carefully inserted with detailed glass sculptures. Kiva creates all of his pieces entirely by hand using the ancient technique of lampworking. Kiva works with select individuals to develop goblets and other artisan creations in an array of sizes, shapes, and colors on private commission. Having grown up on a sprawling farm, his love for nature in its purest form can be witnessed in his works that are both stunning yet inviting and familiar.
