I have three family members who are into telescopes, so I made each of them one of these paperweights for christmas. this is the first one I did...I didn't get pictures of the other two. This one is rasta gold, the second was rasta red, and the third was diamond tical. The body is 19 mm heavy wall with the dichro sealed inside it like a lens. The base is 48 mm heavy wall. All three are sandblasted with initials.

12"x12" This mirror was done as a gift for a future fire fighter. It was blasted and painted gold, orange, and various reds. Most of the pictures show it back-lit... Sorry the pictures aren't too good, but it is a mirror, and nobody wants to see me in the artwork, right?

13"hx4"w This is my first large oil lamp. I made it after watching Charlie Brown and the great pumpkin the day before halloween. The intention was to have an evil pumkin patch complete with black thorns, and a rat crawling up it, but the rats tail slumped a bit while sealing the piece in the outer tube...now it looks like some kind of old cat with a pointy nose. I used an extra bat as a handle on the filler funel, and put the scaredy cat on the top at the last minute...it throws a great shadow when lit.

12"hx4"w this is the second large lamp I have tried...the octopus is all done out of amazon bronze. It is suspended inside a piece of 95mm tubing with some spanish moss stuffed in the bottom. The wick/holder(not yet intalled) will fit into an 8mm hole in the tip of the nose. The nose/head are hollow, and the legs are solid rod. hope ya like it.

3"x4" Just another lamp I made to go in my halloween display. The entire piece is hollow, so it can be filled with oil. I think some giant bats are in order for this year.

16"x6" This is an oil lamp that I made for my wife on Valentine's day. The inner vessel is made from cobalt blue, and has three arms that branch off at different intervals. The center of the lamp comes to a point were there are two swans attached. The outer vase and foot were made from 120mm and are ring sealed onto the inner piece. With the inner lamp filled with oil, and the vase filled with water up to the bottom of the swans, the three flames hover right on top of the water...fill it with flowers and it makes a nice Valentine's scene. thanks for looking.
