I made this huge (almost 4in long!) dragon pendant for the CBS dichroic contest 2008. It features pattern dichro for the teeth and dichroic galaxies in the eyes. I was going to sell him, but I received an honorable mention in the contest and, therefore, lots of free glass (worth at least as much as I would have made from the pendant); so, I decided to keep him for myself! Visit the contest page to see all the other great works of dichroic art...

I have been working with glass since 1998, when I happened to get a job at Glasscraft following my new found interest in making glass beads. I started doing production full time in 2001, having picked up as much information as I could from random blowers and Glasscraft employees- and of course, Homer Hoyt. Today I find time to make art in between my huge production orders. I am looking forward to using my skills in different media to combine with glass for hopefully more expressive work. I am inspired by the awesome works of artists, including the glass artists on this site; as well as beauty I find in nature and in music.
