Almost every bead store I'm in has asked for smaller amphora. I had real trouble making them small. I was trained to do hollow work from tubing and getting under 2 inches with consistent sizing for the neck and stopper was difficult. Then I remembered "It's a hollow bead .. thats BEAD" so I made it as a bead, wow it's simple, it's fun, only 1 to 1.25 inches long, could go smaller and looks nice. They are just great for aromatherapy.

Warren's long-time fascination with glass began at the age of ten when a master glassblower from East Germany moved into his neighborhood. Warren watched his future teacher and mentor at every opportunity and finally began his apprenticeship in 1975. Over 25 years later, he still considers himself only a student of glass.

While circumstances have led him to other careers along the way, Warren has always been drawn back to glass. Recently he has returned his focus to his favorite artistic medium. He creates lampworked, fused and blown glass pieces including beads, marbles, paperweights, pendants, vessels, birds, sea mammals, and small wildlife. Each piece is unique, handcrafted from his private studio in the San Francisco Bay area.

His work can be found in retail stores, gift shops, galleries, and private collections internationally.

You can not buy happiness off the rack.
You have to make it your self!
