Flameworked glass chandelier with welded steel frame. This chandelier was difficult because I split the axis of the frame into three, rather than the usual single axis. 4'H x 2.5'W
I have been working with glass for about 11 years. I first started in my senior year at UC Santa Cruz as a Biology Major. About halfway through my senior year I got a basic lampworking setup and by the time I graduated I was making enough money to survive. Since then I have been working hard to build my studio, my knowledge, and to continually advance as a glassblower. My first few years I had very little influence from other glass artists and recently I have realized that there are a lot of talented and inspirational artists out there and I am glad I finally feel like I am becoming part of the glass community. Flameoff
No, not going to make it to Eugene this year unfortunately. I spent a month and a half in South America this year so my travel funds are limited.
