Sonoran Glass Art Academy is a non-profit glass arts school in Tucson, Arizona founded in 2001. We teach classes in furnace glassblowing, flameworking, fusing/slumping, kiln casting, and reverse glass painting. We are the home of the original FlameOff and are bringing it back for 2009! SGAA does all sorts of Blow Your Own events, including holiday balls, bowls, and vases. These events are quick, complete introductions to the art of furnace glassblowing and are great to share with loved ones or work colleagues.
