These are absolutely stunning renditions of a jellyfish, encased in clear glass with a varying background and embellished from top to bottom. These photographs do not do this art justice.

Mike Warren has been blowing glass and lampworking since 1996. He is best known for creating all his own millefiori and murrine, his signature piece being a lion's face that he designed and created in 1998. In 2003 Mike began collaborating with glass artist Nick Wilde on a series of aquatic sculptures. Largely self taught, Mike takes great pride in learning how to use as many glass mediums and processes as possible, and to that end his current endeavor is working with hot glass, renting hot shop time when not lampworking at his personal studio. Mike continues to create highly unique and creative work. Living in a coastal area, his inspiration is often the sea, as his glass seashells and jellyfish pendants and marbles demonstrate. His artwork can be seen in local galleries. This gallery is an overview of some of his work, past and present, and will be added to and embellished, so be sure to check back in. Thanks for looking!
