The kiln-formed accent dishes and bowls are created from various colors of Bullseye glass. On the black irid images, the pattern is created with a vinyl mask and then sandblasted. One trip to the kiln for polishing and a final trip to form the dish. Because these are easy to customize, they are very popular as gift items. The colored dishes are also Bullseye glass.

There are few artistic activities as fullfilling as seeing pieces of glass transformed from individual shapes and colors into a design where the final product is more than the sum of the parts! Every time I open my kiln it is like Christmas morning.
