To all you jungle bunnies!!! yes, it's that time of the year when, in the deepest, darkest jungle, the Easter Leopard lays her eggs again for all the chimp kids to find. I made a bunch of these as easter presents for friends and family. I know murrine are meant to make it easier to make repeat images, but I wanted to make one in which the pattern from each slice was different. Hence the leopard spots made with murrine ... all from the same stick. I love random patterns. Anyways, these leopard eggs are adorned with ceramic beads from Peru, Cambodian leopard bells and reclaimed coyote fur. They're the size of very large chicken eggs ... thanks for lookin, and hope you all have a safe and happy easter!
