first post from my new account.. for some reason both my glasspipes and glassartists galleries were deleted?!?!? talk about repeditive work.. I was about sick of making lampworked ribbons at the end of the day.. a gift for my amatuer florist mother.. kinda aloe vera plant like structure.. a lb and half of chinese color was used.. all the leaves/vines have 4" glass stakes in the dirt, holding them in place.. might go back and make a few more to fill the gaps..

Title says it all.. solid dichro fuzed.. tack fuzing gives the dimensions Im wanting with fuzing glass.. even if you use the same color fuzed on top the dimension of the top piece just adds to the piece.. Dichro is hard to photograph.. nickle free bails epoxyed on back.. these things BLING in person..

These pendants are inspired by some of Josh Simpsons work I saw out in a Telluride art gallery.. It also utilizes a technique I learned through a Steve Sizelove demo.. I file down copper, silver, and gold coins to a dust and encase the metal shavings in the glass to give this style a real space feel.. I played around with a few disco sparkle chunks for metors, some striking color planets, and some metal chunks in a few of them.. Ive found these to be very unpredictable, I love some while hate others.. Ive also had some coe problems when using large chunks of metal.. thanks for looking..
