Motion Form Goblet

Motion Form Goblet

9" Tall. The strange pierced hole form is showing motion, pulling against a large glass orb. This one went smoothly for me, although the transition at the top where the goblet meets the marble will learned from and modified for next time.

I have been thinking over this design and I have to say it turned out great for my goals. 9" tall. The piece has to be thrown back in the kiln, the net fractured in one spot but it should be easy to fix. Wanted to get a pic to be sure before I tampered with it.
Update: Piece fixed, came out of kiln fine.

I made this marble flier and had it sitting on a foot base. It didn't look right so I made it into a vessel topper. It works better now. It's got intrigue if lacking show stopping qualities.
