(Vases & Vessels)

some firsts Sick of the prodo world and about to give up on glass, I decided to try another route instead. Here my first attempts at a jar and a footed vessel. Far from perfect I know, but over all I was pretty happy with them.
Flower on vessel was a collab with my 3 year old son.

Those pieces look good!!!
Don't give up on the art, but do what you can to get out of production... it's draining and nowhere near as rewarding as being able to create your minds desires... Prodo is however a good way to get technical skills down and a good feel for the medium and how it moves... Keep working and try to break the mold!!!

aloha!

Yeah !!!
Definitely what Ben said. I slowly started kill the passion I had for glass by doing production. When stopped production I started to develop a new relationship with my work. I love working with glass more than ever at this moment. Hang in there you'll have a break through. It is all part of the learning process to plateau and get really frustrated right before something amazing happens. Try to search for inspiration. Do what Ben does... go to the beach!!

I think we all get to the point where we consider giving up
and thats what prodo does to you, it makes for long days, and toally takes away the magic of glass.
if you do have to do prodo, then come up with some new series and whatnot, prodo doesnt have to be boring
