"Basically, I believe that the best work and the most innovative designs I come across are the result of new applications of basic techniques and combinations of basic techniques in new ways."
- Anakin, Glass Line magazine, Vol 20, No 5
This marble was donated to the Kobe Lampwork Glass Museum, Kobe, Japan.
I've been working with glass for about five years now, mostly part-time. In the last year and a half, my focus has primarily been marble making with borosilicate. Once in a while I'll mix it up with soft glass beads and jewelry, boro beads, and functional pieces.
Sweet !!!!!
I would agree, These are great!! nice work. JD.

Amazing Stuff!
I just want to say your work is very pleasing to the eye. I love the back designs also, very sharp! I'm using a technique that gives me similar results, but I'm having difficulty controlling the bubbles. Ant tips? Hit me up at robstig3(at)verizon.net if you feel like dropping some knowledge. Thanks and and keep pumping those things out. You brought a big ass smile to my girlfriends face. She wants me to make her one, But my style is a little different. I like to use latties and dichro with super unobtanium on the backs with a little fume and clear.
