The bowl is a clear bowl, covered in a circuit writing pen thats basically silver pigment and a binder. The silver makes the surface of the glass conductive so that an electric current can pass through in the process of electroplating. The electroplating solution is made up of hydrochloric acid, copper sulfate, and distilled water. I then sprayed more chemicals to patina the copper to an antique blue green.
