For any of you out there that do custom work some people are picky even if you do exactly what they ask for you have to make a new one for them because they will want to change something. with these two sets I initially put the white backed turtle on the bottom and blue on top the way she requested it but then it washed out against the white base so i made her a new one that had them switched around and now she is happy. Even though it may be a pain to have to remake a piece it is worth it to hear the happiness in the voice of your customer and also makes for good repeat customers.

Nice turtles!
I like the flower implosion idea for the shell.

yeah, man, nice implosion turtles
the beauty about borosilicate flameworking is that often you can "cut and re-paste" pieces in different ways without spending time to make a whole new piece. I've had a few jobs like that when people go "umm, can you do this on that base?" ... so I just change the bases on the pieces, as long as the original intend on either piece isn't compromised, and everyone is happy. I've gotten some nice letters and expensive french champagne for doing that :P ... As I always say "Borosilicate, the way of the future!"
