AQUANOT

AQUANOT

This trio was created on a base of gray glass. The beads look like a very pale, soft aqua, but they are actually gray. The largest bead has cubic zirconia diamonds embedded into every other center dot. The two smaller beads are a perfect earring size.

The largest bead is 25 x 15 mm. The two smaller beads are 18 x 12 mm.

Flowing Thoughts

Flowing Thoughts

This focal was inspired by the ocean. While I was at the torch making this bead, my mind kept going back to the beach at St. Augustine, Fl.

The base for this bead is a dark transparent topaz glass. When you hold the bead up to the light you can see through it. The ends of the bead are wrapped with "Psyche" one of those glorius reactive glasses and emerging from the ends are trails of "Kronos" a sister glass to "Psyche". The focal measures 40mm x 12mm at the ends. The bead was wound on a 3/32 inch mandrel.

This bead has some amazing color. I was able to pull out some beautiful greens and blues from the glass I used. This focal measures 45mm x 12mm.

MELON BALLS

MELON BALLS

This set of beads was created in various shapes and sizes using Italian and American glass. The predominate color is a yummy melon. I love layering reactive glasses to give bursts of unexpected color and sparkle. These beads have tons of reactive glass on them. Each bead is a little gem, but grouped together they are fun and beautiful.Sizes range from 17 x 10 mm for the largest bead to 9 x 6mm for the melon spacers.

RED SKY

RED SKY

This necklace was made from one of my favorite glasses to fuse. I love the design in the glass and how it created a mini landscape. The fused cabachon hangs from a a dyed to match 18 inch leather cord. The closure is sterling silver, as well as, the pendant bail. You have a instant peice of glass art to wear!

The matching earrings are 1-1/2 inches long with sterling silver accents.

TEQUILA SUNSHINE

TEQUILA SUNSHINE

I created these beads with a new "odd" lot glass color called "Orange Sherbert". In the glass world "odd" lots are really prize possessions. Odd lots are basically glass recipies that have varied from what was expected. When all the glass is gone it might NEVER be made again.

These beads are 18mm in size. The strand length is 5-1/2 inches long. They were created on 1/16th inch mandrels.
