Okay, I 've been making beads since October of 2006 and this bead was a part of the very first bead set I had ever made- a friend of mine was real into the blue and brown and pink and brown, which I guess is still sorta in right now, so I made her a set with those colors. I really love this bead. Who am I kidding, I love ALL beads. :)

One of my first "real" stringer beads. The pic is not the best but it is Moretti Trans Pink / Moretti Opaq Dark Pink stringer.

I started to get some interest from my little brothers friends about beads so I thought I should try to make something with a little less purple and pink and maybe more blue.. Not sure if I hit it with this one- Either way it was another "first" for me.

When I got my first set of rods I seemed to choose all greens and blues. That ended up being a great thing since I learned a lot about turquoise and how weird greens get when they are hot. These beads are about as young as you can get on the torch. :)

Okay, obviously I love brown and blue and when I first started on the torch I dicovered Brown Reduc. Frit. WOW! I still over-use it :)

I am a lifetime artist and semi-new lampworker. I started making glass beads and sculpturals in October of 2006. I love all art forms but seem to be able to express myself in a deeper and more meaningful way through glass. This is what I identify with now and I feel fortunate to have found this craft.
