Sculpture with a story

  « Ro's Glass World

(Glass Sculptures)

Sculpture with a story I am continuing to create pieces with a story or an interaction between elements. I was always fascinated with miniature worlds and dioramas. I am beginning to look outside of colored glass to accent my work. I have begun experimenting with sandblasting and oil painting as well as continuing to use mixed media in my art.

"I went to Disney world with my family when i was about eight years old. There was a booth in the center of Main Street, where someone was lampworking using the crochet technique. That was it for me, it was magic. I spent hours that first day, constantly begging my parents to still be left there to watch, thankfully they agreed! Since then I've been facinated with glass and its movement".

Spring ahead! Nice Ro, you have great concepts and sculpting skills. Hey, a long time ago I sent you a long long email of a story about a dragon fly. You never got it did you? let me know I think you would really appreciate it and I think I am ready to take the time to type it again. this time I will save it so I don't have to ever type it again. weber.travis(at)gmail.com
