I have a habbit for making art for all kinds of art shows and then not sending them in the mail. This is my Fire and Ice sculpture/ beads? I think it is just ascuplture with a hole. She is Goddess of Ice and the opalino glass is representing a fire with rocks. I see my work getting to be more about sculpture and less about beads, or more about beads and less about sculpture...we'll see?

"TA DA!" This is one of my favorites. This was a submission to a magazine. She is celebrating beads. A proud Soul!

Something about becoming one with a meaningful object, that is so SPECIAL! If only her soul could feel as special as that bead is to her.... hm...yes...a little bit conceptual; maybe too personal... I don't know? I will have to work on explaining this one.

Combining some traditional soft glass techniques, and some sculptural techniques is interesting me. So, I have a transparent cobalt base, with silver foil burnished over that, and rubino d'oro strings of glass, topped off with a really expensive transparent cobalt special something? The bead itself consists of techniques that I learned from reading tutorials by Michale Barley. The figure is created using hot glass relief techniques I re-invented, I suppose... This piece is the beginning to something. The third of its kind. I am Proud to say, it Sold fast at its first show. Along with another one that is similar (to a collector from Canada). What an honor...when someone is excited about the work. Really helps to keep me going! Thank you, and Enjoy!

I was thinking about architecture, and segmented beads, and the Goddess just appeared. She appears as if she has given up, and sometimes I think she is sacrificing herself. Hm...this one is open for your interpretation.

Thank you for taking the time to look at
my gallery.
If not for websites, I would have been a closet Artist forever. (maybe) Art is a passion to many people, and I am one of them. I am so flattered to be at a site with so many talented people. Thank you! And, God bless.
