....yippppppppeeeeeeeeeeee !! today I layed aside the mandrel and startet my first try with boro...on that big swiss torch...
( I failed... but I keep on trying again and again and again..)
my first blown piece... I was so proud ! than it cracked.... I pushed it from the table when it has been finished.... :-(

    exciting!!
    Matthew Eskuche: keep trying carlee, you will suceed. soak the entire piece with heat further out in the flame when you are finished changing its shape and adding those dots, then step the flame down incrimentaly in temperature a few times until carbon sticks to the piece.

    Anakin: You didn't fail. You had a learning experience. Time, experience, and practice, practice, practice.

    Tube is different and difficult at first. Use a big bushy flame rather than a hard, driving flame. You'll get it.
