oct 04 This is a new technique Im developing. Ribbon reticello,s using encomo and a contrasting section for the center. Then some old style golden green dots on the surface ,which used to be the cornerstone of my work.

This is my favorite new marble design!!!! The trick for me goes back to 95. I got it from Bob Snodgrass and used to do it on alot of my pipes. Then it was the background for my skylines and I always wanted to do a whole marble of it.This winter some new technology made it possible to make whole marbles with( texture trapping) on it!!!!!YES!!!!!!!! Ive been making and selling lots of these now as HYDROSPHERES. ( not planets) I love them so much!!!!!

these are from 97 - 98. I used to call it "the pattern" Now I guess its called pinwheeling. I got the idea from Dinah Hulet's raking and twisting, and Sue Ellen Fowlers dot patterns. and also from Kevin Ogrady's gold fume dot patterns. Mixum all together and you get the pinwheel.
