An assortment of goblets and candydishes, all one of a kind. Some are meant to be more sculptural than functional. Actually, many of these are from my first explorations into the goblet as a form. Lampworking a glass goblet or "cup" allows many techniques to be employed in the creation. It is one of Andrew's favorite forms to make in glass, because it challenges many of the aspects of glass and forces the artist to push the limits of the medium. Thanks to everyone who has followed my evolution and supported me over the years. And, welcome!, to any newcomers to my gallery here on Glassartists.org. I am currently working on making a transition from the functional to the sculptural. Enjoy my past galleries of goblets, candelabras, jewelry, and Judaica. Be on the lookout for me to post more sculptural pieces. Currently I am working on my Bird and Branch Series. Enjoy!
Sincerely,
Andrew Jackson Pollack
