These slices were all for a collector in Virginia. About 1" across, and cold polished.

My name is Dave Strobel, I've been blowing glass since 1991. I started with softglass hotshop work for a year, then moved into borosilicate scientific fabrication and repair for a few years, moving into boro artglass exclusively in 1995. The past six years have been spent with a very high emphasis on boro murrini; both making and using them. I now live in the SF Bay area making boro murrini for distributors, businesses, and artists. I also have an extensive line of paperweights, tiles, and marbles that I make in my spare time. My new website will be up soon. Until then, send questions to my temporary email. Thank you for everyone's interest and support over the years! Thank you all for your feedback- both positive and negative is always appreciated.

Thanks!!
Thanks for the comments! Inspiring other artists is one of the best compliments..... Each of the murrini I make take on average one full day of work to fabricate. Skulls are one of my favs also. I will be posting another pic of 50+ millis soon. Im also working on putting a single chip of all 1000+ murrini I've made into a single pic. It should look good, I might have some posters made.
