A few peices from a series of paperweights shaped like crystals - '02- '04. All are completely solid, flameworked boro (no coldwork.) Size varies, but most were 5-7" tall, with a 2-3" diameter. As with the tiles, a dichroic background. Most had about 100 included murrini.

My name is Dave Strobel, I've been blowing glass since 1991. I started with softglass hotshop work for a year, then moved into borosilicate scientific fabrication and repair for a few years, moving into boro artglass exclusively in 1995. The past six years have been spent with a very high emphasis on boro murrini; both making and using them. I now live in the SF Bay area making boro murrini for distributors, businesses, and artists. I also have an extensive line of paperweights, tiles, and marbles that I make in my spare time. My new website will be up soon. Until then, send questions to my temporary email. Thank you for everyone's interest and support over the years! Thank you all for your feedback- both positive and negative is always appreciated.
