2Pac (version) Leaded glass, enamel - 14 x 9" - unframed

New to the art and craft of leaded glass, this is my first art piece: itself only a "sketch" using the copper foil method. I wanted to create a prototype to evaluate any difficulties or special skills required for a final finished piece (which will be entitled 'Latrocinium Vita').

My greatest and most obvious influences are the pop art movement. My goal is to bring modern pop icons and exploit them thru 'traditional' iconography. This piece is an ecclesiastical nod to Tupac Shakur, the Patron Saint of Thug Life.

confused
you say this is a sketch?... and are new to copper foiling?
I love the design. Do you need help executing it? If so it requires glass painting, firing the paint and then cutting and assembling the rest of the panel.

Do you have a kiln? If I can be of any help let me know.... It is worth creating!
