Happy Face Spider (Theridion grallator)

Yes these are real critters. Only known from Maui & the Big Island. In reality they are only several milimeters long, I make them about the size of a hand. I used acid yellow, cobalt 6 & Elvis ruby. I included several pictures of the real thing ive taken unfortunatly the individuals ive seen havent had the happyface markings.

I love making scorpions, such a great shape. Black is my favorite but looks a little scary for most peoples taste.

Yellow Jacket

about 2 inches long, this one was tricky. made with cobalt 6 for the black, acid yellow, and beryl for the wings.
