Tugba Ünsal was born in Denizli/Turkey in 1976. She has always the passion of producing creative things since her childhood. In order to follow her passion, she graduated from department of Chemistry. She became chemistry teacher in order to convey the information that she gained. She started to design jewelry by transferring all the information- that she gained- to her hands. She established company in order to create her own brand. Since 2004, she designed more than hundred jewelry with the understanding of haute couter. In order to imrove her capacity, she learnt , ‘art of fire’ from Ursula Distler in Beykoz Glass Furnace in the first year, Maria Michaela Möller in the second year. In this way, she joined glass art. She made TV programmes in local TV Channel about jewelry making. She is inspired from Ottoman and Middle Age. She compined glass with texture in her designs and wrote stories for them. Her design called ‘Traditional Turk gene is found’ was exhibited by Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Now, she continues to design jewelry for her first exhibition in her Efruze Glass Workshop….
