I BEGAN THIS JOURNEY ON 7/24/06, READING, STUDYING AND ULTIMATELY JOURNALING AND PHOTOGRAPHING OUR TRIP TO CHINA AND THE CHENGDU PANDA PRESERVE
PLEASE JOIN ME IN THIS ADVENTURE WHICH PROMISES TO BE EXTREMELY EXCITING, EDUCATIONAL. IN THE PROCESS THERE WILL BE INSPIRATION GALORE FOR MY NEWEST SERIES OF PENDANTS AND JEWELRY... FROM THE PANDAS THEMSELVES, AS WELL AS THE DRAMATIC COUNTRYSIDE AND WONDERFUL PEOPLE WHO RESIDE IN CHINA.
THE THEME OF THIS SERIES IS BASED ON CONTRAST OF BLACK AND WHITE..CONTRAST OF COLOR AND THE CONTRAST OF THE CHINESE CULTURE AND OUR OWN HERE IN AMERICA THROUGH MY CAMERA LENS AND JOURNAL, BUT FOCUSING ULTIMATELY ON OUR SIMILARITIES AND COMMON GOALS.
OF COURSE THE MOST IMPORTANT FEATURE TO THIS PROJECT IS THE MISSION OF BOTH COUNTRIES TO PRESERVE THE DA XIONG MAO...THE GIANT PANDA FROM EXTINCTION

From the subways of New York, to the hieroglyph studded walls of the Pyramids... the intent of wall writings...aka 'GRAFFITI'... were to convey to the world a personal statement or story
The essence of my creative process is very much the same. My bold and seductive signature style, not only flatters the feminine aura, but makes an artistic statement about the wearer.
These off the wall designs are literally a "fusion" of my own kiln formed artglass and undulating beadwork. You will be delighted at the feel of these miniature WORKS OF ART in the hand and the way the glass and gemstones "sing" against your skin
They are a tactile delight...a feast for all the senses.
