My first attempts at gold fume

« Cloud 9 Art Glass aka "goofballbeads" on eBay

(Glass Jewelry)

My first attempts at gold fume I've had a hard time fuming with gold, so I've only tried it a few times. For some reason I just can't get it to fume worth a sh*t. Oh well, practice makes "perfect"...so they say

I believe gold likes to stick of a cooler piece of glass. Not cold but on the cooler side of hot.
Also try a smaller cooler flame. Get rid of the propane candles in the flame. A small blue flame. No pun intented.
