In keeping with the spirit of the Christmas season, we are presenting a Medley of NEON Christmas decorations, sculpted over the past few years. In our country, it is the custom to hang a Christmas lantern outside one's home. The lanterns are usually in the shape of a Star, to signify the spirit of Christmas lives in the hearts of those who reside within that home. We are a predominantly Catholic country, and for us, a Highlight of the Season is a 9 day Novena, in preparation for the celebration of the birth of our Lord. Most of us walk the morning chill, enroute to Church for this novena, called "Misa de Gallo" or "Mass of the Rooster" as it starts at 4:30am. The walk to the Church is made much more pleasant when one sees the lanterns (called Parol in the vernacular) hanging from almost every home along the route. Merry Christmas All!!!
