Cocoa/White/Peacock Hollow Display and Marble Set

  « Hollow Marble Stands

(Art Glass Decor)

Cocoa/White/Peacock Hollow Display and Marble Set The display stand is made from hollow hand-pulled tubing made of Experimental Cocoa and Star White from NS. The top rest includes a hidden rubber O-ring used as a buffer between the glass marble and the glass stand, as suggested by Mike Close of Baron Molds. The O-ring prevents unnecessary damage to either piece of artwork, and Mike created a tool for me that would leave a perfect indent for the O-ring to sit. Thanks Mike!

Nathan Miers • Glass Artist and Craftsman
Nathan has spent the last few years traveling from coast to coast in search of new inspirations for his work. Coming from a graphic arts background he was searching for a more expressive medium for his art. A few years back he had the chance to play with molten glass, instantly realizing that he found a new medium with infinite possibilities for artistic expression. Nathan's style uses colors that represent emotion. Color relationships that play on core human emotions such as Anxiety, Fear, Surprise, Disgust, Sadness and Happiness. "Emotions are the color palette from which I choose." As an artist, he prefers to create mood bending pieces that uplift and brighten the day of those who have the opportunity to view his work.

Sweet!
The new cocoa color looks nice. I like the O-ring idea as well. Awesome work as always N8!
