Double Take

This is a style of bead I really enjoy making, but haven't made in quite a while. The rest are a few I made that day with the first one.

Glacial Jelly.......

Glacial Jelly.......

This is a collaboration with myself and JD Anderson. This one is very interesting to see the jelly demagnified. It looks as if it is frozen in ice. Or almost as if it is floating in air on the inside of a frosted ball, due to the high polish of the face.

Vortrio

Vortrio

I was looking through the how to's the other day and came across one on vortexes by Chad Trent. Believe it or not I have never made a vortex marble, though I understood the concept. After seeing Chads tips I decided to try a few, and here they are. Thanks Chad.

His and Hers

His and Hers

This is a little set I made to work on my goblet tops. These came out pretty well, they actually make the sound when you add a liquid and run your finger around the rims. The centers are cbs dichro with a cobalt backing.

Raisin' cane

So Shiny.......

So Shiny.......

This was a test of new dichro. I have always loved to make galaxy marbles. They really make dichro look its best, 3D.

Centered

Centered

This is my favorite marble I have ever made. I knew I couldn't hang on to it so it was a gift to my dad. This also has a matching inside out stand, forgot to photograph that. Maybe he'll let me borrow it back to do so sometime.

Just Keep Weighting.....

Just Keep Weighting.....

This one looked great without the facet but had a slight mark on the front, making it a perfect cantidate for the facet. It added a nice touch.

Sunny Delight

Sunny Delight

This is a marble made strictly with fume. Simple and sweet.

Monster Marble

Monster Marble

This was a test to see how big of a marble I could make with a nortel mid range. It is 2" in dia. You could probably go a little bigger, but it would take hours.

Irridescent Web

Irridescent Web

This marble has a stringer and rake pattern backed with a blue dichro and framed in a dot and pinwheel pattern. On the back is a oval cut opal also framed in a dot and pinwheel pattern. Colors are onyx and caramel.

Stringer N Rake

This is a little marble I made to see the effects of a stringer and rake pattern under an implosion.

Winter Bloom

Winter Bloom

Just practicing my marbles, this is #11. These things are pretty addicting. I havent been totally satisfied with all so far, but I am pleased with this one, good symmetry. It seems the simpler the design the nicer they come out. Less to go wrong I guess. All work is for sale, contact if interested. Thanks for viewing.

Frosty the marble

Frosty the marble

This marble was inspired by the first, it was sandblasted with a window cut in the front to expose the implosion w/ marquis opal. Not to fond of the sandblast, but people seem to like it.

A Touch of the Southwest

A Touch of the Southwest

This is my first vessel, which was made about a year ago. I recently found it in my garage, blew the dust off and took some quick photos. The kopapelli was carved with a dremel and I think I am going to do a little more carving on it for practice.

MMMMMM... YOU SMELL GOOD.

MMMMMM... YOU SMELL GOOD.

This is my attempt at a perfume bottle. It came out pretty nice. I really enjoy using the sparkle colors. Disco sparkle can be awesome in certian applications. The onyx really sets it off. Thanks for viewing.

Happy Easter.

Happy Easter.

This was my first attempt a an inside out hollow marble. Thanks for the idea John. It didn't exactly come out as a marble, so in the spirit of the season it became an egg.

Will You Marry Me?

Will You Marry Me?

This is a glass my brother had me make with about one hour's notice. Putting a several thousand dollar diamond 1 1/2" from a flame will definately test your confidence, and give you the shakes like your first day of blowing glass with 20 people watching. $$$$$BLING-BLING$$$$$$
