So many marbles never see the light of day. It's scary to think about how many bad marbles it takes to make a good marble (when you're still learning). Here's a peek at my marble makers junk drawer. This container of seconds is from less than a year of work and does not include all of the marbles I've given to my kids to play with. Being a perfectionist Virgo can be rough but the kids don't seem to mind.

I've been working with glass for about five years now, mostly part-time. In the last year and a half, my focus has primarily been marble making with borosilicate. Once in a while I'll mix it up with soft glass beads and jewelry, boro beads, and functional pieces. Visit me at www.anakinsglasseye.com.
