Small Wonders

Ever try to make a marble as small as possible? It's kinda fun. Anyway, here's a few I did tonight, just for the heck of it. It actually makes quite a nice piece as a set, when paired with one of my new crystal marble stands. The largest of these is 11/32" in diameter and the smallest is 15/64" in diameter.

Micro Honeycomb

Micro Honeycomb

This pee wee kinda looks like a honeycomb so that's what I'm calling it. It's about 9mm in diameter.

Small Wonders Part 2

Small Wonders Part 2

Here's another round of pee wees. These are addicting to make. Or maybe it's just my ever shrinking attention span.

For reference, the marble stand on which these are displayed is 1" square.

The three color pee wees - yellow, green, red - were made with Momka's Marlee and another set was made with Momka's Infinity II. The others were made with cane that I made.

I've been working with glass for about five years now, mostly part-time. In the last year and a half, my focus has primarily been marble making with borosilicate. Once in a while I'll mix it up with soft glass beads and jewelry, boro beads, and functional pieces.
