some new and old trees so i love making glass trees, i make a lot but just recenlty took a bunch of pictures of some new, some old.

this tree has a small ladder and tree stand in it. i want to make a lot more like this. i loved my tree house when i was a kid.

thanks for viewing my art, my name is dave licata and i've been working with glass for the last four years now torchworking and just recently the last eight months blowing and hot sculpting. my home base is white plains ny but i'm all over the place right now. thanks everybody for the great comments and i'm just glad we have this kind of supportive community sharing all our beautiful creations. never stop.

When I saw the tree with the 2x4s going up its trunk, I smiled. It just seems like a timeless, priceless memory from childhood. I would always make a fort with my brothers in the wood, put it always seem to just involve those 2x4s going up it and nothing more....it's "cute"
