these are a series of purple vessels i made this past year. inspired by watching aliens and remembering the pods the aliens hatched from. i'm just tyring to capture movement, growth and life.
the holes are intentional, i make many mistakes because i am constantly learnign but these holes are cut with the intention to look through.

the vessel is not attached so there are many options of displaying this piece.
this can be hung on the wall sideways.

thanks for viewing my art, my name is Dave Licata and I fell into torchworking in 2002 while studying metals and sculpture at SUNY New Paltz. I've since then devoted most of my time to exploring the medium of glass at my home base studio in white plains ny and teach at the brookfield craft center in ct. I exhibit at the eclectic collector in katonah ny, The Brookfield craft center, Ct, Snyderman gallery in PA, and have various shows along the east coast. thanks for the comments. dave.
